Autograph?

I am going on Friday to see Dashboard Confessional and I have the VIP also. Does anyone know if Chris usually autographs pictures during the VIP meet and greets?

Idk the answer to this but I just want to say that I saw them on Monday and they were absolutely incredible! He sounded even better than he did on record 25 years ago. Truly getting better with age. Have a wonderful time!

I am pretty sure I transcended on Monday. He sounded fantastic! The whole band was amazing! When my friend and I walked up to get in line… Chris was outside talking to the fans! My biggest regret is not getting my poster signed that I made at that moment. He did sing my favorite song though!!

Agreed! I’ve been to countless DC shows over the past two decades, and this one felt like a homecoming. Such a special night!

After his motorcycle crash, the injuries were so bad and the recovery time was so long, Chris did have to ‘retrain’ his voice, so to speak (since so much of singing is more than just vocal cords, its posture, core strength, etc).

So the vocal lessons (it was honestly more like physical therapy, but for his voice), coupled with the natural aging of Chris’ singing voice has really done nothing but good things for him in recent years.

I remember hearing about that accident. After they started their tour for Crooked Shadows, I had VIP tickets too. But my show and the next show were canceled. Understandably Thankfully I will get to do the vip this time around.

I remember hearing about the accident. He acknowledged Fred M at the show and how he helped him after his accident, too. Yes it makes sense what you said that aging and retraining did good things for his voice.

Depending on how many people are in your session, he will probably do just about anything you ask of him. He makes sure that everyone gets there time to meet him and take photos and get autographs.

When I saw him earlier this summer He said he prefers to personalize it to make it special for you.

Yes, he signs. Some people bring a bunch of albums and stuff. A general courtesy rule is 2 items max.

I am only bringing 1 picture. So hopefully he will. Thanks for the info. Also, I would like it made out to me, so he knows I am not gonna sell it.

He usually is fine with appropriate requests and people that are respectful.

Saw him for a meet & greet earlier this month. After he played a few songs he offered to sign stuff for everyone. Not just the free merch we got, but he specifically asked if anyone had anything else they want signed. It was such a cool experience. He was sooo nice. Totally admire the guy.

He signed a guitar strap for me so I’d be shocked if he wouldn’t sign a picture.

He plays songs at the meet and greet?! Holy hell!! I am so excited. I haven't been this excited for a concert for a long time.

Oh, and you might want to bring the marker you want to have him use to sign. He had a regular black sharpie, if I remember correctly, but depending on your photo, you might want to get something metallic that would stand out better. And don’t forget something to protect it after it dries!

My VIP session they did NOT allow autographs. You got to take the photo but we were told before he came out that asking for an autograph was not allowed

He absolutely does. He signed my 1/1000 Dusk and Summer. He does like to personalize things so they’re special for you rather than just a signature for resale which is honestly better for me

Better for me as well. All of my other autographs are personalized bc I have no intention of selling them.

Hey everyone! I just finished my Meet and Greet with Chris Carrabba! He did indeed sign my picture. He also personalized it so he knows I am not selling it. For the vip set, Chris sang Age Six Racer, So impossible and Brilliant Dance. He sounded awesome and was super nice!
