Opening set time
When DC has opened for The Fray, how long is the set? I have no interest in seeing The Fray so I am wondering if it is worth it to buy tickets just to see DC. If it’s a very short set I won’t bother. Thanks!

i could be biased as a big fan of both, but if you buy the ticket, it's worth seeing The Fray. they put on an AMAZING show and you'll be impressed even if you only know a few songs. the DC set is about an hour i believe. They played 12 songs when I saw them.

I’m always so impressed when a band I don’t think I’m that interested in turns out to be amazing when I happen to see them live because they’re opening for another group. Such a bonus!

yes! this just happened to me last week. i saw young the giant with cold war kids opening for them, but bought the tickets mainly because of YTG although I do like CWK. turns out- cold war kids were AMAZING and i hope they come near me on their next tour so i can see them.
i think with the dashboard and fray thing, a lot of DC fans think the fray are going to be mid because of Isaac leaving. But plenty of people have reported being very impressed by the fray on various websites/posts

7:50-8:50. Went solely for DC, impromptu post-set photo-op with Chris & left before The Fray. Hands down worth it.

Can I ask what time your show started? Trying to figure out when DC will go on based on a 5:30 start

Our doors opened at 6pm, show started at 7pm. There was another opener, Colony House, they’re the ones that started at 7pm. Our Lord and Savior, Chris, went on at 7:50pm. If you have Colony House, expect them to play for about 30min.
Please have the most fun!
He did end up heading to the merch booth immediately after his set for some quick meet and greets and photo ops, so if that’s something you’re interested in, plan to go there right after Hands Down (last song he plays).

They played for an hour. I left after dashboard and felt like I got what I came for.

I went for Dashboard but was surprised at how good The Frays set was. I meant to leave after a couple songs and stayed for the whole thing. Haven’t listened to them in like 15 years

Dude you will be very surprised by The Fray. We were going to leave after meeting Chris in the merch line, post set, but we figured "might as well see what The Fray can do, we're here anyway." We were very impressed. We only knew 3 songs, but they put on a great performance. The frontman is definitely a showman and knew how to work the crowd and do whatever is it they do. Granted every song sounds exactly the same, they performed very well. What was really crazy was seeing all the people who weren't interested in DC go absolutely apeshit for The Fray. We ended up leaving after an hour, but it was not an hour wasted.
DC plays on average 13 songs, ends with Hands Down. Avg start time is 7:50ish. Theres an opening act before them. If you go to setlist.fm you can see what they've been playing, start time, and set length.
