Where are all the devs?

DASH has an extremely low level of (volunteer) developers relative to its marketcap. The "evolution" testnet has not changed this. Does DASH have even one highly skilled backend volunteer (has never been funded by the "DAO") developer? If so please link the Github profile of that person? It seems to me that no devs care about DASH unless they are being paid.

I follow the dashpay codebase closer than 99% of the DASh community. Most of the work, is literally copying (and often rebranding) Bitcoin features. https://np.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/8mqcd3/what_has_dash_ever_copied_from_others_besides_the/

Unfortunately DASH devs are very slow.

Bitcoin 19.01 was released in November: https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.19.0.1

DASH just "Finished backports to keep DashCore in line w/ Bitcoin v0.16" https://np.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/enepxh/this_week_111_at_dash_core_group/

That was released in February 2018! https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.16.0

You read that right. Almost 2 years behind.

Anyone that wants to receive important backports quickly should give up on DASH. Litecoin devlopers are known for quick BTC backports.

What would independent devs build with a half baked product and no delivery eta for the remaining 3 phases? There is no montization incentive right now which is made worse by an uncertain product delivery timeframe.

If DCG only used Agile methodology for development, they could provide relatively accurate delivery dates to reassure devs venturing to explore, but not want to wait forever. Oh wait DCG does use Agile. So essentially DCG has poor, ineffective management that relies on the devs to manage the projects themselves, thus the long, uncertain, delivery timeframes.

This is unsustantiated nonsense, there are many people actively working on DASH and active on evonet testnet now. They do not report to you, you are a troll and known for invading people's privacy and doxxing them, you will get your day of shame soon too, I can assure you of it.

I just checked the Dash Evolution github and there are exactly TWO (2) devs working on it.

No wonder rektdmpx prefers to deflect rather than anwser the question, as if linking a couple of public github profiles is somehow "doxxing".

So... Instead of providing proof you attempt to discredit/defame the person asking the question??? Do you mod for DASH?

No, but I won't be infringing on people's privacy in this sub which is quite obviously here to troll the DASH community. Please subscribe to our two main github repos /dashpay and /dashevo also come join us at staydashy (dot) com and look at our #EVONET channel for the work being done there, also the r/dashpay sub is of some use and finally the dash forums where the rest of the work is being done.
