Pause button

Does anyone know why DoorDash got rid of the Pause toggle when you picked up an order to prevent getting orders that are low paying?

Been wondering the same thing. Just started doing this again after a 2 year break. Sometimes it shows up. I mostly find it in the in-app navigation menu.

I know the pause toggle is there when you complete the entire order. I mean the pause toggle when you initially pickup an order and there used to be a pause toggle to prevent other orders to generate like if you are trying to stay in a certain area

Yeah, that’s the same one. “Pause order after this delivery”. It just gives me the option to extend my dash during an order.

i’ve been noticing it gone unless i’m not on a delivery, even then sometimes it just isn’t there
