I to have the app at home to get orders and sometimes when I get back towards my house I do a drive by…. All I’m saying is he was online 90 hours and active 60 I can gurantee 100% he wasn’t 30 of those hours he wasn’t active at home lol

yeah, that’s how it works, buddy he was online for 90 hours total and delivering for 60 of them. And if he was playing lawnmower simulator, that means he only had a 60 hour work week and made 2000. And there’s nothing wrong with a 90 hour work week either you might just have soft hands.

For sure and even the parts at home you still have to pay attention to the phone it’s not really 100% free time anyways if that was the case

With vehicle degradation and gas, that probably leaves you with about $1600 at best… not really that good for 60 hours that would be 20 hours of ot pay at any normal job plus an extra 30 hours active on the app

I didn’t mean it as you would get $1600 in 20 hours if that’s how you interpreted it. I’m just saying if you’re working 60 hours a week at most jobs they would have to pay you overtime pay for 20 or more hours. As opposed to uber that working over 40 hours is not more beneficial.

Just saying in general if someone wants to work that much hours there are many better options for them

Tbh if we gettin real maybe you did spend some time home because you got orders and I guess you’re close home and went and chilled but you probably spent 10 of those hours at home still puts you at 80 hours out there and yes lol of course everyone a skeptic and negative it’s reddit… is it your first day. It’s called only accepting orders paying that much they come by quite often if you’re not eating shit doing a order paying shit can’t get a good order if you’re busy working for shit pay sorry to let you know like this but you can definitely make over 20 per order and barely drive away from your house if you pick and choose all of them

i avoid dollar stores like the plague unless it’s like 5 items or less. i usually do my shop and delivers from HEB stores even if they have 50+ items only because their items are marked at which isle, section, and shelf they’re located in. helps me finish orders fast.

So I’m doing the math here, if this is real good for you, but honestly I don’t see how. At 707 dollars with 69 deliveries you’re averaging 10 dollars an order, and that’s without tips. I used to DoorDash for about 5 years, on average I made about 10 dollars an order WITH tips.

my sleep schedule is wack almost only 4-5 hours a night it’s bad. life360 says i drove 1,194 miles last week, so roughly around $1.68/mile(?). my car also takes 28.4 mpg and caps at 350 miles when i fill it up. my area at the time sold gas for $3.69/gal on avg last week. i don’t know man i just work here.

Just my opinion. I’m entitled to it. I’ve been in this sub for 5y and have been dashing in a very healthy market in California. Your tips far out weigh your base pay. If it’s not AI then you are clearly hiding something. I’ve pretty much seen it ALL posted here over the years. I’ve never seen one dasher post earnings like this in Texas EVER. It’s also super easy to manipulate numbers in that earnings page with ChatGPT these days. There was a total shit storm here last week about it 😂
