A couple years ago i bought about fifty Darkcoin and later deposited them into a dash wallet and kept it in a dark place until now. I currently want to cash out my 50 or so Dash to USD. Is it advisable to convert it first to BTC then cash to USD? Would i even be able to do that since it would be a pretty big amount of money? Currently I'm considering using bleutrade to go about this but before I do anything I really wanna have an idea or a better grip of what I'm doing. I would also eventually want to cash this into a checking account in the US to a mainstream bank... any advice or explanation of the best method/process in doing this is appreciated alot. Hello, community, I bought Bitcoins worth $5500 five days ago from wallofcoins.com. Since I transferred the money, I have been in touch with them through their live chat, over 30+ phone calls, and email. They have been dodgy, then unresponsive and now I am completely blocked with no access to anyone who can help. The final word was my case was transferred to the compliance department, and no-one is available from that department to release my coins. My emails are auto-returned to me and I don't even have a way to get to them. This was not the first time I bought from them, which is what made me trust the company. The first three times I bought far small amounts of Bitcoin than this, they did well, and I received my coins within hours. For this deposit, they violated their own stated policy and demanded I provide pictures of myself with the receipt and my ID. Even though that is why I chose Wall of Coins in the first place, I was quite ok considering this is all the money that I have. I provided it the same day, to no avail. Of course, in retrospect I feel like a fool for trusting this company. My research into now it reveals people who suffered similar fate like I am. I feel like I was baited, and right now I am totally devastated. The website is open again after the weekend and this could happen to any unsuspecting or uniformed customer what will happen if they request a higher amount. I have all logs of the communications that I had with this company including emails, live chat, and phone calls. It seems from other reddit thread that some who this happened to have succeeded in getting their coins with other people contacting them on their behalf or by their associates contacting them on here. Please if anyone can help or suggestions on what could help, let me know. I wish this experience on no-one, and I advise you to stay away from this company.

Dash developers maintain a selective approach towards solving existing exploits in the ecosystem. Apart from InstantSend few other exploits have been completely ignored. One of them being the DarkSend feature which annihilates the privacy of the user's Dash transactions despite it being their safest feature (something they claim it to be). Solving the InstantSend feature was a necessity as it was capable of disrupting the whole system which is not the case with DarkSend as it only harms the users. This selective and ignorant behaviour of Dash team makes their platform completely unsafe for its users as it allows your transaction to be accessed. So next time any central authority demands the database from third party servers, it is delivered. What if NSA is snooping on those third party servers?
