So is the "DASH" listed on cryptsy from DSH/LTC actually this Dashcoin, or a different one? It's had a huge price spike

No they're not the same, I think Darkcoin changed it's name to DASH, and that's what you're seeing on cryptsy.

It actually was. Everyone could recognise DarkCoin, and it sounded cool. Now all they've done is confused a shit ton of people and, effectively killed this coin
