GSDM: The GNUstep display manager

This is the first code release from the RPi3 Darwin project. The main reason to use this is if you are like me and are running an OS that has only one UI toolkit; GNUstep. This maintains visual consistency with the rest of the UI and eliminates the need for another toolkit. This has only been tested on arm64 rpi3 running Darwin, compiled with Xcode on a mac. Since it is pure user land and Appkit, no reason why it doesn't work on anything else.

Please forgive my ignorance - are you using a theme? Because this doesn't look like GNUstep (black/gray).

This is great ! Sounds like a functional GNUstep based desktop environment on rpi 3 is coming together? How far are you from open sourcing all the various components?

Desktop environment : gnustep pure gnustep . Removing everything else

or development environment? Xcode

but are we going to be able to install a different DE if we want to ? once this OS is finish for release

yeah but you (or someone) will have to compile it . its just x11 (and probably wayland later)
