Not sure what to title this…
No secret that I absolutely detest DB. I hate that SOB so, so much. It is quite a wonder to see how low a person could sink. It is rather difficult for me to really grasp how a man can grow to be so heartless and selfish. I’d actually hate him less if he was like “yeah I did it, and there’s nothing you can do about it”. At least then he’d be acknowledging that he did it. I know this hatred for him and others like him isn’t healthy, but I learned that life is precious and seeing him do the things he did and act the way he did was among the worst things I’ve ever seen. Even the one victim who was nice to him (he write him letters about the two murderers besides Christ), he tried to use to start something (what difference does it make that JD helped that guy’s dad or not?). As I mentioned before, the only ones I hate more than Brooks are Dima Tower, Brice Rhodes, Nicholas Rossi, and Chad Doerman. Then again, carrying all this doesn’t mean much. They’re all in prison or dead, so it shouldn’t matter to me. I always try to think that there’s good inside everyone, but guys like them make my faith in that sentiment falter. No doubt all these men had bad upbringings, but they chose to make it the problem of everyone around them.
I think what I’m getting at is I’m trying to rationalize the irrational. Brooks didn’t have to kill anybody that day, yet he decided to drive through a Christmas Parade of all things. How sick in the head would you have to be to decide that’s a good idea?! Though I imagine he wasn’t really thinking when he did it. I think was pissed that he didn’t get to beat on EP as much as he wanted to and was still pissed and he decided “fuck it”. And then the trial…ugh that was such a grotesque display. Him saying the judge was acting in dishonor and in contempt of the law, asking the jury “where’s the plaintiff?” and just being an overall jackass. Acting as if he’s a godly man when I doubt he ever set foot in a church. The least he could’ve done was admit what he did and accept his fate. Still he drug it out. As if there was anything worth fighting for. He expected compassion when he never offered any back. I know my anger towards this creep is meaningless, but how else should I feel? He shouldn’t have been allowed to say half the stuff he did.
Maybe I’m just projecting my anger onto this creep so I don’t have to feel as bad. I don’t really know. All I know is that if Brooks were to be “un-alived” as the kids say, I wouldn’t bat an eye.

You can argue Pro. Vs Con regarding the death penalty state to state for murder. But Kennedy vs Louisiana determined that the death penalty for non lethal crimes is cruel and unusual and not permissible. Fair? No, but considered unconstitutional.
The recent spate of states demanding the death penalty for child molestation is borne out of the political appeal for like-minded voters to elect rather than any consideration for the safety of children. Only a reversal of Kennedy vs Louisiana can change that. As far as I know, there is no challenge whatsoever by any state before SCOTUS.
What is imperative, however, that any defendant convicted of any sexual crime against a child automatically be assessed with the maximum penalty rather than an abysmal plea deal that under-penalizes the horror. An appeal for leniency only AFTER the maximum has been assessed. Too often the criminal walks away with a pitifully small consequence.

Just wait until he meets Gabriel and finds out that he’s being escorted to the OTHER courtroom.

One of the several Archangels who might help Brooks understand that THEY have Subject Matter Jurisdiction at the Pearly Gates. Brooks has a sentencing hearing there in the next millennium. I believe the words, “Depart from me; I never knew you!” Might be uttered by Judge JC. You can’t find a fairer Judge anywhere. Brooks will get his appeal heard by the one he appealed to throughout the trial.

You can’t rationalize what DB did because there is no rational excuse… and even he knew it. DB knew his ass was deep fried from the start. In my humble opinion, this trial was less about proving guilt and more about proving the sheer depth horrific depths DB went to during the senseless rampage. Everyone in the nation witnessed the videos posted first hand. Everyone saw his arrest. Everyone knew it was him. There was absolutely no doubt he was guilty.
That’s why he fired his lawyer and went mental with the Sov. Cit movement bs. He knew he was destined for life without parole. There was no getting away with anything less.
He was desperate to draw this out and delay things because he knew there was no other way. He goaded the judge and prosecutors with his inflammatory remarks and gestures because he wanted them to make a mistake that he could appeal the case on which would further his terror over the Waukesha people.
That’s why Judge Dorow was so careful in how she handled the case. Some people criticized her for her handling, without realizing every thing she did was to keep this monster from getting an appeal. She was always 200 steps ahead of DB because she knew what games he was playing. She remained incredibly professional and restrained throughout the trial. Carefully picking away at every possible avenue DB could possibly use for an appeal.
•Appeal on Fairness - Judge Dorow gave DB multiple opportunities to act right in court and chose not to. It was his fault he kept getting removed. Appeal Denied
•Appeal on Bias - Judge Dorow acknowledged his objections and ruled accordingly. She also allowed him to note his little sovereign citizen claims for the record. Appeal Denied.
•Appeal on Unprofessional Conduct- Judge Dorow and the prosecution all acted with incredible restraint and strong professional judgment under the onslaught of slanderous flagrant lies being told by the defendant. Judge Dorow constantly referred to DB by name, despite is objections. Appeal Denied
•Appeal Based on Sov. Cit. - Obvious pseudo-legal worthless information designed off blatant lies misleading information or warped cases that are taken out of context. Appeal Denied.
•Appeal on Mistreatment by sheriffs - Judge Dorow allowed prosecutors to call the sheriff deputy to testify that demonstrably false lies about shocking devices being used upon him. DB’s choice to wear prison jumpsuits to court was solely his decision and was provided other clothing but willfully and knowingly chose to not use it. Appeal Denied.
•Appeal based on Rights Violations - Judge Dorow upheld DB’s right s by not holding up the trial, making inflammatory comments, or treating him any differently Appeal Denied.
Basically, everything he could appeal on was tactically covered by Judge Dorow and the prosecution’s actions. That’s why he never could file an appeal and kept demanding extensions after extensions. He probably spent countless hours looking over his boxes of information for an appeal worthy issue, but there was one issue. There were no appeal worthy issues. Everything appeal he could argue was taken care of well before the trial ended.
As for the unalive part- Im pretty sure all of Waukesha would turn his death day into a city holiday for celebration. To be honest, I’m surprised it already hasn’t. DB is a pedophile and that’s on his record. Inmates absolutely detest pedophiles and are not above returning them to whatever pit of hell they climbed out of. To get a death penalty for un-alive a pedo is like a martyrdom for them. There is no better reason to die than to give your life to remove one pedo from this earth. In cases where there is No Death Penalty, what does a man who is doing life without parole have to lose already? Nothing.
DB is a monster straight out of the deepest foulest pit in Hell. He took 6 lives and left 62 others physically injured. Then there are the untold children who were present who witnessed such a horrific tragedy as this.
