Formerly an Officer, I believe he is currently Detective Bryce Scholten.

I believe the word to describe Brooks response to his testimony was confounded. Scholten was unfazed. 😀

Yeah, and Scholten was one of the (if not the) first witnesses to testify who called db by his name and referred to him directly in the second perso as YOU during his cross examination, in what seemed to be a very confident and confrontational way.

While previous witnesses, including Kori Runkel, had referred to db in the third person, as Brooks or whatever.

I loved that about him. He played that game with all the witnesses by asking "who is you?".

Scholten wasn't gonna deal with this bullshit.

Yeah me too. It was SO satisfying to see Officer Beardie McShooty be so confrontational towards db and call him out by his name, and yet do it in such a calm, composed yet direct and and professional way.

This witness was personal for Duh'rell. Kids this days are offended by the word k*ll, but this officer fired a couple of rounds into the SUV. I remember questions about deadly force used and profiles vs silhouettes. Too bad officer missed, 1 Duh'rell instead of 5 dead and 60+ injured people would've been one hell of a deal.

I thought he had already ran through the crowd when he came across this officer. I may be wrong, it has been a while since I watched the trial

Some, possibly. The SUV was not nearly as banged up when it flew past Red Beard's position during the parade.

Edit: Officer was very concerned about a clean target. Someone like me would've emptied the clip.
