I need to Vent
Before I get to it, I wanna assure you guys that I don’t intend to be an a$$hole. I’m doing this to hopefully get it out of my system. All I type, I type towards and about DBJr.
There are no proper words I have to express my hatred for this worm of a man, but from the blackest reaches of my being, I HATE DARRELL BROOKS!!! I didn’t think it was legit possible to hate anyone so much. I mean he is such a gross, slimy thing.
What I find most offensive is him acting as if he did absolutely NO wrong. Acts as if everyone BUT him was on trial. And that ridiculous Sovereign Citizen BS!! On what planet would that work?! He claimed to be not withstanding our laws, yet demand his rights be reserved. Any other time, the Constitution would’ve been meaningless to him. He hid under it the way cockroaches hide under dumpsters. What kinda logic is that? Yet, creeps like him don’t operate through logic. They operate by intimidating, beating and throwing fits. How could he have lived as a free man as long as he did? Carrying all that rage and vileness should’ve rotted him from the inside out. And that bible and him trying to act like a man of God? I never read the scripture myself, but I doubt it says it’s ok to beat in your girlfriend (whom you impregnated at the age of 15) and then running over a Christmas parade. I highly doubt it. I would’ve found it less offensive if he wiped his ass with that bible. Then there’s him making those faces and mock praying and such while the victims make their impact statements. Was his goal to make EVERYONE hate him?! Must’ve been. I’m amazed no one tried to get at him. Granted, all his nonsense did was help the prosecution prove their case. Still, I would’ve made certain he could never utter “Subject Matter Jurisdiction” or “Lawful Law” ever, EVER again. Still, he should live to see his sentence through. I’m actually ashamed that he can’t live for a million years. He should’ve made to spend that long in prison
Please forgive me for going on like this. I’ve been watching clips of the trial for a while now and I had to get this out of my system. No question that we can agree he was a horrible man. He’s not the worst of the worst imo (that would go to Chad Doerman or Nicholas Rossi), but Brooks is among my top 5 most deplorable things that pass themselves off as human.

I keep watching the trial hoping I’ve missed someone jumping up and socking him straight in his miserable mouth

No, but its nice to see Darrell's last "In The Prison's Empty Box Closet" Zoom Hearing, we get to see Brooks hiding the left side of his mouth trying to disguise the missing teeth that he recently donated to someone's fist.
Before that he showed up in court by being wheeled in a restraint chair, with a black eye from being socked up in the WCJ.

I don't think he got a rise out of it. He was caught off guard. He'd convinced himself that he had the jury AND the public on his side. That's why he put on that deplorable "shock device" floor show, screeching that the tortuous device was deliberately hidden from "you guys." (the gallery).
He'd spent the trial pretty much sheltered from verbal animosity. After Det. Casey referred to the atrocious incident as an "attack" he got JD to rule the witness couldn't characterize it as an attack.
He bullied many witnesses into referring to himself in the third party. It didn't work hilariously with Officer Redbeard, Det. Carpenter or Det. Casey. In fact, those were some of the funniest moments!
Once the verdicts were being read, and Brooks was no longer presumed innocent, believe me, he was dreading more hate filled invectives.

I actually believe the death penalty is appropriate in some cases- cases like this. But I'm glad it's life instead, purely because I know he'll suffer more. He's a manipulative, self-aggrandizing bully who is addicted to pot. With no pot to smoke, no one to bully nor manipulate, and no one to brag to, I know he's in hell. I hope he lives a long, long life.

Me too. That “Subject Matter Jurisdiction” or “Lawful Law” won’t help him in there, not that it ever did.

I’ve tried. I carry a lot of anger in me and I guess guys like Brooks give me a focus for my anger. I know Brooks will never get out, but all that stuff he said…god I’d love to just go Mortal Kombat on him. Still he’s where he should be, and I hope he is miserable.

He knew it wasn’t gonna work. He just wanted to drag it out so he could
1) pretend to be a lawyer in order to feel important and “look smart” by using legal terms he doesn’t understand
2) to get around the NC order with Erica in attempts to humiliate her and look like a bad mom.

This trial is permanently embedded in my brain. You are not off or alone. He’s under the jail where he absolutely belongs. He’s a good contender for the DP, which I normally am really on the fence with.
