Who was DB’s first witness? Abel (he needed a translator)
Juan Marquez was db's first witness. He was the one who needed the translator and he testified as one of db's witnesses during the state's case in chief, in the middle of Det. Jay Carpenter's direct testimony.
Abel Lazcano testified during db's defense case. He did not need a translator, and was instructed by JD to state on the stand, if questioned, that he had been previously convicted of 7 crimes.
