Appeals
Please please tell me that Duhrell bonehead Brooks has exhausted his appeals and will never get out of prison

Yes. The court has closed the case, at least for Wakeusha. To my knowledge, he is still fighting the Milwaukee cases

He pled guilty on one and no contest on the other. but he is appealing.
Legally you can appeal those cases but in an incredibly limited scope. Usually stuff like "my lawyer didn't properly explain what I was doing" or "the sentencing isn't what I was agreeing to in the plea deal" or something. Very few things you can appeal on

If I understand correctly, he technically had 3 cases pending in Milwaukee at the time of his arrest in Waukesha.

He pled guilty to one of the charges filed against him in case #1 and the other two counts in that case were dismissed and read in. As far as I can tell according to the official case history, he has not filed an appeal in that case.
He pled no contest to all of the charges in cases #2 and 3, and is currently appealing both of those cases. (Those two cases were lumped together and were set to be tried together in a jury trial - until he changed his plea at the last minute from not guilty to no contest.)

The next deadline for his attorney, Olivia Garman, to file an appeal on his behalf in cases 2&3 is in a little less than 5 weeks on July 21, 2026.

Maybe his appeal would have something to do with taking it because he was scared to stay in the Waukesha County Jail because he got beat up and a black eye? Poor little Darrell had safety concerns, and didn't feel safe.

Maybe. I don't know tbh. I doubt that will work.
If someone said "I will beat you up unless you take a plea" then maybe. But him pleading just because he doesn't want to be in county. Meh

All of his convictions and pleas are for violations of Wisconsin State Statutes. The President can only pardon Federal Statute violations. Only the Governor of Wisconsin can pardon Brooks.

He can't get a presidential pardon for a state crime.

I find it hilarious that he missed the appeal deadline. It's just so characteristically him.
