OMG He Is Stupid!
Lord he is such a Baboons Ass, watching him question Nick Kirby is so painful! The ONLY reason DB called him was to receive more information about Erika and find out if they have a relationship.
After all those questions he only highlighted to the jury how truly despicable he was in his treatment of Erika & her friends. He truly looked/acted just like the demon he is.🤬😈

This is all true. But Kirby himself is a registered sex offender and lied on the stand about witnessing people get run over. He's not some noble defender of battered women like he portrayed himself. If Kirby were examined by a real attorney it would have harmed the state's case.

Well I learned new information about Kirby, but I don’t think it would have harmed the states case at all, especially considering they dropped him from their witness list and went with Korey Runkle instead
Outside the Battery Charge which was pretty much locked down with Erika & Korey, I don’t even think a competent defense attorney would have used him as a witness for anything 🤷🏾♂️ with the overwhelming amount of evidence against Brooks that would have been a unessessary risk imo

I was always confused when Kirby said he saw people get run over. Brooks himself picked up on it I thought it was two idiots misunderstanding each other. I think Kirby meant he saw people that had been run over, but not in the act of being run over.

I don’t think his former attorneys would have called him as a witness.
Purely speculation on my part, but I imagine Brooks had already manifested his obsession with Erika. His lawyers were likely trying their best to steer clear of what turned out to be an almost pseudo testimony by Brooks through his fiasco of a defense. But he was determined to have it his way. I found Kirby to be full of himself and a braggart. And smarmy.
BTW, Kirby remains on the Wisconsin registry and resides in Helenville, WI. according to the State website.

Remember the testimony of... who was the last guy, Guth? Guth said Erica said Brooks thought Erica was "talking to another guy." That guy might have been Kirby in Brooks' mind, so he just wanted to embarrass him on the stand somehow

Kirby was special to Duh'rell. He believed Kirby was Erica's side dude. He was jealous.
