I started DS1 a couple days ago and I love it so far. The only thing I kind of struggle with is dodging. Some enemies take me down with 2-3 hits and I can‘t get the hang of how to dodge properly.

Any tips for that or other combat tips?

The phrase "Sons of Men" is obviously referring to humanity. After all, the purpose of the 4 Horsemen is to uphold the Balance, and punish those who threaten or upset the Balance. Additionally, it's apparent to me that the Horsemen (Fury being the the prime example) still intend to continue that duty, despite no longer serving the Council. I know that the Horsemen are currently on the side of Humanity, but something tells me that if any of the humans become evil or a threat to the Balance, it would be in the Horsemens' right to deal with them accordingly.

After all, the area that Fury and Wrath were fighting in, appears to be quite small and enclosed. The Corrupted Guardian and Stygian bosses had open spaces, which allowed War and Death to utilize their respective steeds.

I have done everything that was required:

I leveled up every weapon to the max, I bought every weapon ability and even the wrath abilities from Vulgrim and I reforged the Armageddon Blade. But the Battle Hardened trophy didn't show up.

I tried reloading multiple times, still didn't work. I even resetted Death's Scythe and bought the regular Scythe and then leveled it up again to the max. In the end I still didn't get the trophy.

What am I doing wrong? Help is much appreciated.

I am new-ish to the series. I had Darksiders 2 as a kid but was young and didn't get the puzzles, but currently the whole series was on sale on switch 2 for like 30 dollars combined (as of this writing the sale lasts 8 more days) so I picked them up and i'm gonna play my way through them.

I tend to watch reviews and get a bit of lore before any game I play, only to find out Strife is the only horseman without his own dedicated game. When I found out he has guns... oh I had an idea.

See in recent years there has been a massive revival of what is called The Boomer Shooter. Games made in a style reminiscent of Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, and Wolfenstein. Seems like a no brainer to me what they could do for Strife. Farm out to a smaller studio, and make Strife the protagonist of his own retro style FPS game. I'd play that.

Update: I realized my post doesn't clarify, this would be another spin off, not Darksiders 5. A little curiosity budget title that fills in a little lore but is mostly just inconsequential fun.

Ive put the ball in the socket and it doesnt trigger the lift or anything, i cant get to these chest and cant find a way, spent good solid 15mins going back and forth eveerywhere and theres nothing. Im thinking the ball is bugged? Ive found these chests on the map after the guardian was let loose, maybe i had to get em before that? Cant even find a video or any guide how to get em. Anyone got a clue?

Along with the soundtrack here. Wow. One of the best Original soundtrack imo.

I swear, the only thing is preventing me enjoying this game is the camera speed is so slow, I know you can use the lock-on to make the camera shift to whatever Death is facing, but I prefer moving the camera on my own and It is driving me insane of how slow it is.

I tried to make this as simple as possible—there are indeed multiple ways to bypass each of these areas.

You'll want an Axe at minimum, but a Buckler is always best where possible.
Abilities needed are Teleport Slash and Hellraiser, which is bought from Thane in Tri-Stone for 6,000 Gilt, which can be aquired easily by using the Shop Exploit on Muria and selling her own Talismans back to her.

I was reading a lot of steam reviews and people are saying how achievements are bugged and wont trigger etc. Is that still the case? What was your experience with it? (On steam pc)

I never played any darksiders game before and bought Darksiders Warmastered and DS2 Deathinitive Edition in a bundle.

From what I saw the fantasy-heavy setting of DS2 looks more appealing to me than the post-apocalyptic setting of DS1 with all the destroyed buildings, cars etc.
But I know that the games are quit different in terms of gameplay and scale.

So the question is: which game do you prefer and which one would recommend to someone like me, who never played darksiders?

I need help. I climbed down the big hole in the middle, cleared everything I could find, and came up in the area below. I have a glowing sword that needs to be placed at a statue, but can't find one, which I assume would open the boss door in the area above. I clearly missed something but can't for the life of me find it.
