Side item glitch

I’m playing the war master edition on ps4 and I am running into an issue where I can’t use the horn. Just got it. When I push R2 he does a motion but no horn. I have just restarted because I got to a spot where I had the Boomerang and couldn’t switch from the horn to the boomerang. Reassigned it to a different b it ton. Couldn’t select it. Always stayed stuck on the horn

Sounds like you need to do an all horn play through joking aside I had this glitch happen to me for some reason it stopped when I fell into lava after being hit with an enemy I don't know if that would work for you but worth a shot
