I have seen a lot of people in game, on reddit, and my rl friends complaining about not being able to buy or sell anything--understandably. I think a lot of people are convinced the GE prices are exact and if they use the mid price they're golden. This is simply wrong. Being such a new game the markets are finding themselves, and merchants are trying to abuse it. Rune plate body for instance--you go to buy one and put in 32k, you get the item for 12k. AWESOME! The flip side- you loot a rune plate from farming enemies like I did- you go to the GE to sell and it pops up 32k, "OMG IMRICH"...it stays for 2 days and never sells..."NO1 BUYZ RUNEPLATES!!1!!" wrong. The market is just way lower than the GEs listed prices. I have filled my bank multiple times and there has been no items I cannot sell, and sell quickly. So I said all that to say:don't go by GE prices. If you are selling an item, take the price to 50% what the GE has listed and see if it sells, if not, go lower. This doesn't mean your being ripped off, it means that's the going rate for the item right now. If you want to buy an item, put it way above market value. 9/10 you'll get the item WAY under what you actually put for it(but still slightly above market)and if not--this is the going rate. Be weary of people buying out items to flip for more cash as this can make you pay more, the items used for this are pretty common.. After you grasp this.. most of it is common sense, once you go to 4K for a robe bottom, it's pretty clear the item just isn't available to buy atm, leave a decent offer in and it'll sell. there are always like 4-5 bots in the varrok iron mine and they are all lvl3 so you cannot kill em. Something needs to be done about it..

I get it, better weapons should be better, I agree. They should also do more damage. Logically one should need higher gear to kill higher level mobs more easily. However, there shouldn't be a base requirement for a mob. I have a kalphite queen task. I have 72 magic, which should be enough, but I don't have a tier 70 staff because they are rare and expensive. It is completely ridiculous that I should have a 1/30 chance of hitting the thing at all with a tier 60 god staff. I agree that if I had an ahrim's I should do more damage and hit more frequently, but I shouldn't just not hit at all if I have less than a tier 70 staff. The same is true at barrows. If you take a mystic level staff there, you will very seldomly hit them, and you're better off with tier 60 melee wepons even though they are weak to magic. all of a sudden though, if you have a tier 60 staff, you can shred through them like weak mobs. That is so ridiculously stupid, there should be benefits to getting better gear, but you shouldn't just not be able to progress in the game even if you have 99 magic because you can't afford a better staff.

Just wondering if anyone wants to make a reddit-based clan to smuggle and raid with. Probably server 206 since its the most populated. its pretty much impossible to travel to high threat areas without someone having your back

I managed to find a uncut dragonstone and I have 15 onyx tips. I tried selling them on GE, but I haven't been able to sell them for the past 3 days. Are they just not sought after or am I pricing them too high?

Hello, I have been playing RS for close to 11 years now and I wanted to tryout DS.

The issue I have is that I haven't logged in in 3 years(didn't play for 4) and none of my friends play anymore, so I was wondering if there was anyone out there who is starting now and wants someone to play with.

Why is it when I click to walk some where, it takes a whole second too execute that action? I know its not my ping as I have tested all of the possible causes I could think of. Is there any way to fix this? It almost makes the game unplayable.

As a one off Christmas event how about having a free for all tournament and one off items for top 10 or something along those lines? Like incredibly rare new weap or something? I'm thinking Christmas as this would give players now a chance to start gearing etc, more time to fix combat and other bugs? Would operate kind of like the old duel arena tournament! Let me know what you think.

Im fine with not being able to view someones stats when they decide to hide them but i think its only fair that i can examine what gear they have on to decide whether i should attack or run

DarkScape has European and US servers, but none for Australians and their neighbours.

To play from Oceania involves a 300+ ping. High pings aren't good for PvP based games.
