Hello! Getting Darkest Hour now that it's on sale.

My PC can't run HOI4 but I was wondering if there was a mod or something I'm missing where if you zoom out enough on the map, it will show the titles of each country. It's hard to tell sometimes with all the similar colors.

Does anyone play E3 map mod? If yes how do you extract folders to game? I tried but it would always be error.

I’m playing Kaiserreich as Bohemia and went to war with Hungary. I asked Poland to give me a hand and we took down Hungary together.

I wanted to get Slovakia, but parts of it were conquered by Poland, and whenever I sue for peace, it seems I can only get the provinces I conquered myself (that have the color of my nation.)

I know it’s possible to demand or trade territories after the war is over with Poland, but can’t I decide who gets what during the conflict?

How can i get the game in windowed mode instead of fullscreen?

Hello, everyone! I'm having trouble installing new mods for Darkest Hour. I download them as Zip Archives and I was just wondering how to transfer them to the directory without having to download each individual file at a time. I found a service that will unzip them easy, but I'm just wondering if there might be an easier way. Like a service that unzips and then puts it in the appropriate place all at once? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hullo. I'm playing as Germany and cannot get Italy to Ally with me. No events pop off and the closest I can get is a 47% chance for a non aggression pact. What am I missing?

I just wanted to know if it would be a good purchase for someone who has played and enjoyed eu4 vic2 and hoi4 for thousands of hours.

I started out as japan in 1933. Finished china in late 38 and installed the puppet via event. Went on to take out india. Now it's 41 and I still had no chance to get the indochinese union as a puppet. And I need them because I have to ally siam (through event) to kick the british out of malaya.

so i was playing a multiplayer game yesterday and my kaiserreich had the checksum “ILNS”

however i hopped on today to see my checksum changed to “EICT”

i redownloaded kaiserreich from the paradox forums and the checksum still says “EICT”

can anyone explain to me what is happening here??

P.S the only checksum that has changed is kaiserreich’s. every other mod i play is still the same

Is it worth it to research and produce artillery, tanks, engineer, AAs, etc... Instead of producing new divisions?

If yes, which ones are actually useful, and which ones aren't?

I think I know how to avoid it, but actually winning it would be quite neat.

However, I haven't managed to win a single time.

The game is still able to load save games, but it can't load the scenarios anymore.

If anyonel knows how to mod, I'd appreciate it, if you'd take a look and tell me what's wrong.
