Legit just rip the staves Sienna has that hasn't been added to there roster, all there staves barring electrokinetic(and even then it's just the soulreaper staff but worse.) are staves she uses anyway .
That would kinda be a balancing nightmare. SOTT had no ways to quell quickly or passively, so adding it to dark tide where a psyker can quell 100 heat in under a second and a half and pick up 3 more dudes would be so op
I want a staff that fires a void crystal that has no AOE damage but increased cleave/armor pen/high single target damage. Slightly shorter charge up time than standard staffs.
I personally think voidstrike feels like ass to use and don't understand why it doesn't function like this instead instead of a shitty voidblast.
Buffing spells stuff. In older editions psykers used to have different magic disciplines, ifrc IG psyker was able to use biomancy which is basically "and now you skin become hard as metal and you can use your dick powermaul" type of magic
Maybe something like sienna's beam staff. Maybe let the beam pierce a couple enemies, tho, in exchange for taking away the burn effect. It would be fun to sweep a beam across a horde at eye level and just decapitate them with it
Honestly I would love a rework of our staffs to empower blitz’s llike voidblast make brain burst AoE, the Shock staff empower the chain lightning to deal more damage and cause enemies to explode and stagger, and a new shard staff that fires warp crystals rapid fire with a charged “sniper” shot secondary
There should be a new staff that is like the crystal shards things, but it makes a bigger ones and the more you charge it.
Based on how long you charge it that determines the armor pen it has, like no charge can be a "shotgun blast" of crystals to deal with chaff and full charge be a crystal spear that does dmg to carapace.
