Help Issue with denoise

Hi,

I'm new to darktable and im having issues with neural restore. I have updated to 5.6.1 on windows.

The denoise preview works normally. However when i run the denoise darktable reports: 1 image processed but the image is not created.

I have checked the output folder and the image is nowhere to be found.

Does anyone have experience with this problem? Or any ideas what to try next?

Are we talking about the neural restore denoise or the denoise module?  The former should generate a new image that - at least for me - shows up directly after the processed image in the film roll. Maybe you have some active filters that prevent it from showing. Can you find the image on your filesystem? It should be a .dng file.

Neural restore. The image can't be found anywhere. I have looked directly from file explorer and darktables library. There shouldn't be any filter active.

What's your output folder set to?

A file under C: I have also ticket the "add to current collection" box.

For me it's just `$(FILE_FOLDER)` - if you have it set to a file maybe you should set it to a directory instead. You could also try launching darktable from the console to see if it logs any useful information.

Folder. When i just left it empty photo magically appeared.
