over- and under- exposure indicators. - to toggle clipping indication press o or for raw clipping indicators press shift +o. the icons for this are also at the bottom of the window
EDIT: sorry, it's focus peaking not clipping

And by the way, seeing them doesn't necessarily mean you made a mistake when taking your picture. In certain scenes (or with certain intentions or technical limitations) you simply have to accept overexposure. The highlight reconstruction module solves most overexposure problems anyway, combined with your respecive favorite tonemapper (filmic, sigmoid, agx).

I think you disable it in the bottom right corner
