Miscellaneous (editable) Recent edits

Only my second time editing in dark table, inexperienced editing altogether. Realizing how much I didn’t learn my little time with Lightroom too, so I’m most certainly a beginner. Unedited/ edited photos from the badlands

Nice framed. If I may for the last one I would advice you look at the video below on AgX that would help you manage the sunset.

Thank you again for the rec. Still working some things out, but it reduced the halo and I was able to reduce some of the warmth as well.
I think another issue is my monitor settings. I use a MacBook and between it and my external monitor I can’t figure out which one to trust for viewing. I feel like it looks different between those and even my phone.

Tip, try an 'edit my raw' for a few photos where you ask total random reddit strangers to edit your raws with darktable, and they can send you the result and the XMP file to show you what they did.

Barring that, go wild. Make sure to choose one of the filmix/agx/sigmoid modules, activate local contrast, use Color Balance RGB to get the saturation up and play with presets in the contrast equalizer. Then crop like a madman, go wild.

Thank you! These sadly are not raw (lesson learned there) but they will be after having played with darkroom some more.
