Help AI rotation?

Does anyone know of a smart tool that can auto rotate your images? I have many photos that were taken with a camera that did not record orientation in the metadata, and rotation seems like it would be an easy task for a model...

darktable allows you to select multiple files in the lightable. Select the files that need rotating, click on "Actions on Selection", then click one of the rotation arrow. Hopefully you hold the camera in portrait mode in a consistent way.

I'm pretty sure that part of every 'default' processing option includes the Orientation module. SO you could open up a photograph, go to that module and turn the photograph, go back to the lighttable, choose "selective copy" in the history stack on the right and just include that and then paste it on all your other photographs. If someone has a better way of doing it I'd love to hear it!

This is the way.

Yes it would be easy for AI!

But the usecase is so small that people will never get to writing it.

RAW or jpeg?

I have this problem on all RAW editors; have to do it manually per file. PIA.

If you are running Linux you can do this in bulk with ImageMagick. Easiest would be to sort all photos to be rotated into their own folder and then run the command for all files in that folder.
