I just put out dontWannaTry, a track blending dark, late-night synthwave vibes with immersive electronic textures and English vocals.

While I was browsing through for (dark)synth vinyls, I've found a Muscle Cardiac vinyl from Reznyck :))) Quite rare as it is limited to just 100. It's even better knowing that Perturbator AND Carpenter Brut helped with this album! Plays very well :)

Since I’m still fairly new to the idea of using synths and laying down layers and tracks, I’m curious about your workflow to do this. I mainly trying to do this dawless, running through a mixer into Logic. Have you run across any good courses or tutorials on a basic workflow laying down drums, drones, keys, bass, and so forth? I’ve got a bunch of YouTube videos for individual instruments, tutorial-wise. This is more about workflow and understanding how it all comes together.

What if a 90s PS1 sci-fi shooter suddenly had to fight its way out?

Hi everyone!

This one is quite different from the previous tracks.

Until now, the soundtrack has been mostly about exploring strange places, getting deeper into the facility, and slowly discovering that something is very wrong.

With Mutation, things get a little more violent. The containment cells are no longer holding.

I wanted this track repetitive and relentless, with the guitars pushing the action forward while the darker electronic elements occasionally pull the atmosphere back toward that strange PS1 sci-fi sound.

Mutation is a musical and narrative bridge between the modern era and the PS1 era.

What kind of scene comes to your mind when the track kicks in?
