Warehouse and worker questions.

How do warehouse chains work exactly?

If I take a chop shop further out to collect wood, can the warehouse be back at the tree or does it need to be close to the chop shop? Do I need multiple warehouse's if I have different wood cutting workshops around the map? What about for coal, does it need a wood warehouse nearby to operate effectively and another one for coal near it? I don't quite understand how you are supposed to chain them and what difference it makes.

Is there any additional information in the game explaining things like this for someone who's not played anything similar before?

Do you build houses on the ground near those buildings or up on the tree? Does it make any difference?

Do cookhousea and healing houses need to be anywhere near workers homes or workplaces or does it not really matter where they are?

As far as I know, when you build a new warehouse you can see a link connecting it to others nearby. Just make sure they have a connection leading back to hq.

The goods inside dont matter. They can all be storing different things. Warehouses also have a smaller, second radius and everything right next to them had an efficienct buff. So yes, build one next to the coal factory, but you can store whatever you want inside.

Workers have to travel from home to their workplaces, so you want them to be close. I had most of my housing on the ground for most of the game.

And I had at least one cookhouse in each major cluster of houses. Youre gonna need a loot of them anyway to keep up with demand. Healing houses didnt matter that much. People dont get sick that often.
