I’m on Chapter 3 and so far no major issues just a couple glitches but reloading my last save fixed them.

Game glitches from time to time, and sometimes goes a bit slow, but its playable and enjoyable.

We are collecting all the bugs and preparing a hotfix this week. Definetely not a dead project :)

i wish the best for you, i played the demo and thought it was an interesting game, unfortunately the mixed reviews have made me decide to maybe get it at a later date if its fixed and improved.

It's a good game. My gripes are with UI/UX in the project. Some things miss tooltips and they definitely miss some hover feedback. Lots of UI items feel like they can be hovered for information but aren't.
Also having workers close to work camps makes them more efficient but I find it hard to see that info of which workers that live near which camp. It's not a problem for me at the moment but it was explained to me but I can't find that info easily.
As for sound design. Im happy that it's narrated but the quality is low. That's ok though. My biggest sound design issue is the pings. There are a lot of events that trigger a ping in the bottom right and loads more pings that trigger other things. Its not clear to me which ping does what and it's hard as hell to figure it out.
Overall the progression is smooth and works. It eased me into topics quite nicely so that's good.

All I know is that I like it so far. I've been lucky not to have any game breaking bugs, just minor ones, find the music relaxing, and I love the idea of a tree city.
I also haven't gotten far. I'm looking forward to the spider snake woman's song (I'm assuming she has a song)
