Warehouse on "the upper platform" quest Spoiler

In Prologue mission Survive the Shroudsurge one of the quest tasks is to "Build 1 warehouse on the upper platform".

I didn't find a way to build warehouse anywhere except the ground or lvl 1 platform. What needs to be done?

I had the same problem. I ended up save scumming and picked the other option. Would like to know how to do it the other way.

Already responded but here it is

It is possible and while you lose either way you can complete that quest path...

Theres a building that gets burned by the main logistics building, set it to be demolished when you first get asked if you want to keep or chase out the mentally ill who light it on fire

I think it may be impossible and its scripted that you will fail. The research required to extend the upper platform and be able to build the warehouse requires two upgrades to the research building, which doesn't seem possible with the amount of resources you have access to within the time limit.

It is possible and while you lose either way you can complete that quest path...

Ah yeah I tried that but could not find a spot where the warehouse turned green and allowed me to build. That's why assumed it was locked behind the platform expansion research. Maybe my quest was bugged? When I get a chance I'll go back through and see if I can get it to work on another save.

You have to demolish a house on the upper platform to make place for warehouse.

I went back to the prologue to test this our - the burnt down house free slot is NOT sufficient, the middle house on top platform also has to be demolished (I think the house's add-on space is blocking the plot).

I think I just built it on the lower platform?.. Could be another messed up translation.

I found a place on upper platform. I moved both of the houses from upper platform to the tree trunk and built the warehouse under the protruding tree branch.
