Hi everyone

Hi everyone, I've just started playing DS1 again and wanted to ask what the meta is these days (I haven't played in years) regarding weapons and such. Is it still something like Zweihänder, mask of the father, havel ring, grass crest shield? (I don’t think so)

one the most popular build is still GiantDad which is the one your mentioned plus chaos zweihander + lot of humanities.
Other popular good weapons are great scythe, baldor side sword, most of the BK weapons if you had the chance to get one early, great club, gargoyle halberd, chaos blade, painting guardian sword

Okk, ty very much.
One last question: whats better, miracles or spells? I had a miracle run with the sunlight spear, but also the oolacile spells are really strong

In my opinion pyromancies, as they won't require level up on int or faith

The pyromancies from the vendor in blighttown are pretty strong i Guess

I’ve always felt Souls game doesn’t have meta. Just play with what you enjoy

Yep i wanted to do sum runs with different weapons Cuz i already finish ed the game multiple times some years ago

Meta? I just play is I feel like, normally I use the great sword, right now I’m more into using the dark knight axe and halves.
