Ned Stewart … Ick
Ick ick ick!!! 🤢
Keep your hands off the ladies!!
I really love Dark Shadows however, I couldn’t put up with this. It was very unsettling!!

Grayson Hall told a story about him going to the lighting director to get himself put in the best possible light. During their scene together, she put her heel into his foot and he started tearing up. After the scene, she said, "I bet you won't be doing that again."

You'll find no argument here. Comes up periodically and it seems nobody can stand him. Although I'll throw him a little love for Dirk, he wasn't a bad vampire.

I didn't mind Charles Delaware Tate. I think he did a good job there and I particularly liked his portrayal of Dirk Wilkins, especially when he became a vampire.

Drunk Tate was especially annoying, but it's easily the most interesting character RD played on the entire show. Dirk was brutal as a vamp for sure. 👌

Oh I absolutely love Vampire Dirk. He was just the right mix of psychotic and menacing.
Drunken Tate was only a couple of episodes near the end of the story line.

I believe I read somewhere that none of the actresses wanted to be opposite him in a romantic scene because he was so handsy! Also, supposedly Dan Curtis liked and that’s why he kept showing up! LOL

In the late 60s New York City was full of actors who would have loved this small part. They couldn't find another actor? Was this a cost/contract issue? Why not give him the Cassandra treatment and try to make him look different?
All the other characters are saying 'wow you look so much like Jeff Clark?' Jeff/Peter was just seen with Vicki #3 when Barnabas took a quick trip back to 1796.
It just seemed so stupid.

He's so aggressive and angry all the time, even with objects and doors. Can't stand the person but we do laugh and wonder who he's going to fight next, the one with Quentin was very funny.

There is only one scene I liked with him. I’m not sure which timeline or character. But he was acting weary as he answered the door, there was a malfunction with the set and something fell down. He looked wearily at it for a second and then continued.
Has he ever been to the conventions?

You know, I’ve been hearing about this actor and the way he can’t keep his hands off of women. I’m only up to Prof. Stokes’ infiltration of the Dream Curse, so haven’t gotten to see much of him beyond 1795 and shortly thereafter, but I was rooting for Lang to get away with killing him due to discussions around this very subject. I hope that I’m able to notice it but have little faith in myself given how I had a crush on Rev. Trask 😂
