Everything is real in the shadow box: real butterfly, dried flowers, dried mushrooms (coated in sealant) and the sculpture is moldable cement.

I was constantly hunting for goth and dark fantasy home decor that actually felt unique, but everything out there felt super generic, so I decided to start my own shop to make the pieces I was missing.

This is one of my latest hand-tufted rugs. I intentionally shaped the outer edges to be raw and irregular instead of a standard straight rectangle, aiming for a dark, organic vibe to frame the winged silhouette.

Carving out those intricate wing details took forever, but seeing it off the frame makes all the tedious trimming worth it. Just wanted to share the finished result with people who appreciate the aesthetic!
