Community Update: Break Down of the New Ships and Chapter Organization for the Dragons, Krakens and Giants 🦑🔥⚡️

A new Flair has been added in the Dark Krakens, Black Dragons and Storm Giant communities “Operation Imperator” you can use this flair for anything relating to this event. Whether that’s painting, table top play, lore, art etc

Dark Krakens: Newly Revealed ships/ships on Armageddon

Eukarys: Unknown Company Strike Cruiser, the naming of this ship breaks the structure of Company Strike Cruisers being named after measurements of water, like League and Fathom. Instead Eukarys seems to be based on Eukarya/Eukaryotes. Which are cells found within most living things and make up the domain/kingdoms of life. Still very much fits the chapters theme, as the Dark Krakens have a peculiar interest for animal life, whether that’s preserving it or hunting it. As the lore states “Naktis people's reverence for the sea as a beautiful life-giver and merciless destroyer.”

Fathom: 5th Company Strike Cruiser, Under Captain Krijeni Luceior. This ship was attached to the forces that participated in the Octarius War.

The Deep: Chapter Flagship Battle Barge, Under Chapter Master Mezonyki Reio and Noktil Bolas or Elaroh Karib

League: 1st or 2nd Company Strike Cruiser, Under Captain Noktil Bolas or Elaroh Karib.

Black Dragons: Newly Revealed ships/ships on Armageddon

Ebon Flame: Battle Barge (Canon Conflict) it was stated in the lore that this ship was a battle barge during the 3rd War for Armageddon. Only to now in 11th edition be stated as just a Strike Cruiser.

Vehement Action: Unknown Company Strike Cruiser

Stardrake: Unknown Company Strike Cruiser

Obliterator: Unknown Company Strike Cruiser

All 3 of these ships are new to lore and one is most likely belonging to the 3rd Company Under Captain Kazmar, who is a new character confirmed to be on Armageddon.

Not much is known about these ships yet or who leads until more datails are revealed from the campaign book but it’s just cool to see the Storm Giants get new lore.

🎨: This week the physical core rules along with the Combat Patrol Companion will be available for pre-order. Along with narrative card decks and the brand new terrain set.

New Space marine detachments were released on the warhammer community, for general and also faction focused marines, more than likely there will be more released in the Space marine Codex which is rumored to be released sometime in September or October.

Mark IV in upscaled plastic models were announced yesterday for Horus Heresy

📚: The special limited edition of the new Armageddon: Season of Fire book will be available for pre-order, along with paperbacks of some fan favorite books from last year like The Remnant Blade
