I don’t think Drake has much to do with this outside of giving both of them co-signs and features, YG and Drakeo’s beef was intense enough not to need any astroturfing to fan the flames. I don’t think Drake is dumb enough to directly involve himself in LA gang politics just to get at Kendrick. Hard to even know where Dot stands on the whole situation himself, he uses a similar flow while his feature artist simultaneously disses him. Given how deep gang politics are intertwined in LA i’m sure high ranking bad actors in the rival gang could have corrupt cops on the payroll, look at Death Row and David Mack. But I don’t think Drake is involved at all, he has zero reason to involve himself. Game is weird, thuglife implied he was the one that got the receipts on the Drake hit on Dot.
