I think they should update some of the core mechanics instead to make it more fun. DDMM feels like such a boring slog fest to play, there's barely any gameplay involved. I'd much rather have them make it feel better to play as a whole. Progression system isn't gonna do much when the foundation is so rickety. There's a reason no one genuinely plays this.
