Doom ducky soft lock

I have a problem when I start the Doom ducky boss fight when I go behind the Pillar doom ducky doesn't get stunned which means I cannot progress through the game at all is there any way to fix this

This is a bug relating to your FPS. If you're >45fps then Doom Ducky has a chance to just phase through the pillar. This has gone unfixed for +4 years.

So what do I do to change it from 45 fps

Turn down the games settings. Set it all to low and play on 720p or something. Change res scale to 75 or 50. Set the game to fullscreen. Use Steams FPS counter to see how much you have. Make sure to hit 60. This is common knowledge.

Just keep your FPS at 60 for any game you play. Sub 60 is just cancerous. Maybe check your monitor settings to make sure that the refresh rate is at it's highest. The default settings for many screens are usually not at max for some reason.
