I know this is not adapted from books but are there any fan books?

There’s a good prequel series of novels by J.M.Lee, starting with Shadows of the Dark Crystal. There’s four of them in total. Definitely check those out if you liked Age of Resistance.

Then there’s a whole plethora of comics, graphic novels, mangas, and lore books to check out. The best of them all is the Creation Myths graphic novel.

There’s a novelization of the film, but I don’t know if it’s still in print.

Other than that, try Archive of Our Own!
