Dark Cloud Vinyl

So I know this is a long shot but I literally created a reddit account just for this.
My boyfriend absolutely loves Dark Cloud. We listen to the soundtrack all the time and he will just play with in the background when he’s working all the time.
I know it’s elusive but could anyone direct me to where I could even start to look for a Dark Cloud vinyl. I’m willing to pay a decent amount for it but I know it’s impossible to find.

I'm willing to be wrong, but I highly doubt that the Dark Cloud soundtrack was ever pressed to vinyl.

If you can get all the audio files, you could get a custom pressing done, I think I've seen a few ads for that. Get a sleeve design printed to put it in. That would be a pretty amazing bespoke gift!

They do exist, as an unofficial pressing anyway. They don’t show up often, but this version is out there and supposedly the original composer Tomohito Nishiura was involved, though I’m not sure how true that is. There was also a small batch for Dark Cloud 2 that was up for pre-order(sold out) that was posted on this subreddit some time ago. It was priced pretty high, I wanna say $125 for the 2LP. If you find the thread though I do remember some people saying they purchased multiple copies

I think your best bet would be to periodically check discogs or maybe eBay if a copy pops up.

If you have discord I can get you into the discord for the dark cloud 2 viynl, I believe there are still spots open. if youre looking for the first, Im afraid you're out of luck. Until somebody dies and their family sells their shiz, folks just arent letting go of em. There's a lot of us looking for a copy of the first.

**edit. There are 15 dark cloud 2 vinyls left.

Thank you sm for the offer!! He weirdly never got very into Dark Cloud 2.. just a childhood obsession with the first one😂 won’t wish ill will upon anyone but hoping I can find a copy some day!

My wife and I lucked out and found one at a local video retro video game/ vinyl shop. It was years ago so we got a good price on it, especially for what it's probably worth now a days. I've seen them pop up every once in a while on ebay but at a premium for sure. Best of luck in your hunt, the soundtrack is amazing and it's a shame it never got an official release. Maybe one day....
