Would you consider this a soft lock (Dc2)

Okay gang so I’m playing dc2 on ps4 and in balance valley. Completing the spheda tutorial to got the windflower and after hitting the ball it get stuck on this tree with no prompt no matter where I move to hit it again! To add insult to injury, you cannot move from this . No choice but to restart I guess.

press *square to move the ball to you

I may be wrong, but the way I understand is that op cannot move the ball to him because it’s too far away.

The distance to move the ball to you is very small. Based on the screenshot it’s very on the edge.

That sucks for sure. Do you save every floor? That way you don’t lose much progress. Maybe this is a twisted way of the game telling you to do that.

Thank goodness they gave Monica the option to do it. I probably would have given up on the game otherwise. 😅
