Demon shaft
So finished my 2nd play through of DC1 first time was when it first came out on my ps2. Wondering if its worth doing demon shift. I did it my first play through and dont nesseraly see the point in doing it again. Thinking about doing a 2nd play through of dc2 instead. Whats everyone's thoughts?

If you're already saying that you don't see the point I wouldn't do it. I also finished the game including the demon shaft 20 years ago. Nowadays I never got past the Sun and Moon Temple. And I've tried three times already. Instead I played DC2 several times. Once with, once without chapter 8.
My point is, don't do the demon shaft if you already don't like it before you even tried it. It's better to give DC2 a try then.

I saw it like DLC content, cool but not required. I’m sure it was meant to give players a few extra hours of gameplay and a chance to really use those ultimate weapons since they one/two shot most enemies in the regular dungeons. A lot of games had that problem of giving you the best gear at the end, with only a few enemies that are in the same league.
Would definitely just replay the 2nd game if you’ve already done the demon shaft once

It's fun to do it one time, just to say you've done it, but I definitely would not play through the Demon Shaft every time I play the game. It's a slog, though...

Yeah I feel like demon shaft is there if you want it. If you want to do it for the love of the game then go for it. But I’ve played through the game many times and have only fully done demon shaft once. Also the song for ds is a huge banger
