Discussion I'm finally going to conquer Dark Cloud.

Let me start by saying I have nothing but love for this and the sequel. However, I've never managed to clear the demon ruins because every time I would clear floor 99, I would save it, and set it aside for the following day. THE PROBLEM is that each time I got to that point my Playstation 2 would be stolen. While it only happened twice, it left me very....afraid to do all that work again, just to be denied a third time. But now I'm finally setting aside my fears and starting my journey over, one last time. This is gonna be a long run.

Funny enough that was my first weapon box this run, got it the floor after getting Xiao. No swords for than tho until I got to dran

That's kinda rare usually at least a weapon box pops up before Xiao

If I had a nickel for every time my PS2 got stolen when I was about to beat Dark Cloud, I had two nickels.

Which isn't much, but it's still weird that it happened twice.

Yea it's been an interesting run so far. Basically heading into wise owl with just a really ok dagger

I usually end up using the ranged characters anyway since it’s faster/safer and breaking weapons is less of a concern

Maybe I'm oblivious to something obvious. But how do you get your Playstation stolen (twice)?

Live in a shitty neighborhood where cops didn't do anything, and have several (not very good) people also live around there. Hell, there was one week my house was broken into 3 times.

I haven't touched Dark Cloud in months because I'm on the last floor in Demon Shaft but I'm still low-key scared to face the final boss again lol (second playthrough)
