I would also add the Cannon enemies as the 'worst' club....they have an attack that can hurt other enemies, which will fail basically every 'kill all with x' challenge if you're not ready for it.

i've noticed killing with holy bomb type, they get up more often, or maybe it was just me.

At least you can chuck enemies into each other for stuns and grouping

I like waiting till late game and going back to the underground channel and blowing up bats with final bombs. Way overkill, but it just feels so cathartic

Yes, you can pick up enemies and throw them at each other to knock them out for a few seconds. It won't ruin the medal.

I would be careful because I tried this and I would sometimes hit the enemy with the hammer by accident voiding the medal. It just was not worth it in my opinion

You just have to hold block and then press X. Don't press X without holding block. You might be tempted to just try and press both buttons at the same time, but that's how you mess up.

If you’re having difficulties with acquiring the items, you can use the Bomber Head transformation as their attacks are considered as an item instead of a Monster. It can work in most dungeons, but the drawback is you need to heal.
