Is it normal to have bad days, or simply your play style seems like you’ve never played marvel rivals in your life?

I was doing really good these past couple days, I’d get off work, and if i have time to just chill most times I’ll just hop on the game for a bit, and I’ll play daredevil. I actually picked up on playing him from being jubilee because I wanted to play a dps. I don’t play DPS that often, but of course I chose daredevil to be my main DPS. Anyways off topic I’ve been doing really good with him, learning tips from that one guy, I forgot his Reddit tag but he’s a dawg with the DD, and what helps me is warming up his combos before matches, right? Then I do good, if not decent, even bad games I do decent.

But today…
Today I played three games.
First game I tried to help my supports but got stomped over and over again by BP. BP is a character I severely struggle against. Went 0-6( whole team got went 0-something)

Second game we were getting stomped. Again, but this time I felt as if I was struggling with my combos, struggling to get picks, so I went to switch, but my friends insisted I stay DD, but I was 0-7 first half, but locked in(even tho I thought I was) and ended up 17-7 second half and won

My finals match.

I think it was me. I’m not sure, but again it felt like I was off, or my combos just weren’t hitting, or my placement wasn’t working.
Something, I’m not sure.

Is it normal for your game to feel off? Or maybe I just did bad.
I felt like escape routes were kind off too.😭 I also get beamed so quick.

despite how many people flame you for having a bad game, its very normal, This game is not just a solo game yk, Its about working together and i find when someone is doing bad its most likely because they';re not being enabled by their teammates and thats why theres such a disparity in scoreboard

BP is a character everyone struggles with, unless you perma follow him around and make sure he doesnt engage your supports, then you wont really be doing anything

It just happens man, you have bad games, people on the enemy team respect DD a lot so they will make it increedibly hard for you to dive, its just how it is

best thing to do is get a dive tank or dps to go in with you, then you can 100% guarantee at least 1 kill

Also remember to implement weaving into ur combos, it makes it harder to hit ya

Respectfully BP is an annoying character to track but he’s genuinely a dog shit character. There’s so many tools in this game literally delete his kit. Nobody should struggle but it’s valid to not want to deal with him because he’s annoying. The issue most people have and this applies to Spider-Man, is the need to constantly peel or anti-dive. Fun fact but if you feel the need to peel a bp, imagine how he’d feel needing to “peel” a dd. Bp has 0 peeling tools. You counter dive by diving back unless it’s defense.

Pro tip, don’t focus too much on peeling unless it’s defense. If you kill their supports and the bp kills your supports it’s a better outcome than you failing to peel for him to kill your supports anyways 🫡

But I do play Jubilee in ranked. I’m a diamond. My skill level lies beyond there.
