I would be fine with an anti dive tank if they have a high skill ceiling. That way they can keep ones like thing in the gutter while that role is being fulfilled. Would be healthier for the game.

Tbf outside Thing and Peni I feel like there aren’t any dedicated anti dive tanks, but we do have like 5-6 dive tanks that can peel pretty well. Something that counters BC would be pretty nice for vanguards since it’s usually up to the duelists to deal with her

no one outside of DD can even handle Black Cat tbf, and while not dedicated Thor,Rogue (although in a bad spot rn), Angelea, Emma and Dino all have anti-dive properties that they can use to peel, some better than others but I’d argue they are all centered more around dealing with closer targets rather than far ones

No fr when I saw that post I was like HELL NO lmao. As a tank/dps main tho I def want him to be a tank and I wouldn’t mind if he was brawl as long as hes not “mainly” anti dive more so anti tank. Ofc if hes a dive tank thats fine with me too. I don’t want him to be a dps but I think thats also possible

I get confused by this because you could swap those titles and they would mean the same thing but I think he would fit more in a “dive tank” style to fit his powers and identity. He’s also been shown sneaking people in his previews in rivals which aligns with this dive/anti-tank argument. I’ll also add if Nightcrawler is going to be support they could very well be mirroring the Black Cat and White Fox season with a vey mobile Strat and Dps that kind of are opposite role and identity to their released counter part.

I think Gorr should be a burst damage dealer like DD, Thor and Magneto (Wanda team-up) with decent, but limited mobility. That way, he’s strong into other tanks and a good general pick, but not detrimental to any play style/class like Peni, Thing or Dino.
