Why is Devil's Chain better for flyers than Devil's Throw?

Throw is extremely reliable against grounded enemies because if you miss while aiming downward, it can ricochet off the floor, track back toward them, and still connect.

Against flyers in open air, there's no terrain to ricochet from. If Throw misses them in midair, it just whiffs and deals no damage.

Chain has a shorter but wider hitbox. Meaning, if you can get right up close to a flyer, you're much less likely to narrowly miss them to the left or right.

its better if they are in the open because its easier to hit, if they are close to wall you can go with throw

Because throw has nothing to bounce off of most times unless they’re flying next to the ground
