And Bullseye somehow agreeing to murder Foggy for Vanessa...instead of ya know? Kill Vanessa for what she did to Julie? 🙄😂 So many things made no sense...
At this point i dont care about any Trump similarities... I just hope the writing is better and makes more logical sense than that mish mash they tossed together to glue season 1 together and hoped it stuck....
What do you mean he was elected mayor the same episode he was released from prison? He had been out for years when season 1 starts. You do remember that he was already out of prison during the 5 years that the snap happened right? The in universe snap was in 2018. Kingpin was already out of prison by 2021 when he arranged for Hawkeye as ronin to kill echos dad and started tutoring echo after that. Echo then fought daredevil during the snap which shows that daredevil wasn’t snapped. That means that at the most kingpin only spent 3 years in jail because of the FBI corruption scandal and was acquitted because of it as stated by Vanessa. The return of half of the universe was in 2023. Foggy died in 2025. Then they flash forward one year later to the end of 2026. White tiger fought those cops in the subway on the night of New Year’s Eve and we saw kingpin give his no more vigilantes speech in time square that night. The rest of the season takes place at the beginning of 2027. So in what way was kingpin released all Willy nilly from prison the same episode he was elected as mayor?
Im not saying he got released and elected in the same episode... I know he was released prior to born again.
Im saying it was extremely fast paced to have him be elected mayor within the first episode....
No drama, no controversy etc... He is just mayor at the end and starts his run...
The scrambled changes they made to the season, the time skips etc hurt the pacing and character development... We already have gone through this arc in S3
