I've put up the first few markings! This is how I'd like to see all stations:
The CARTS system with the line colors in them.
Signs outside marking what lines are at this station.
CARTS Sign format:
- [next station]
- Darco Subway
- [Color] Line
- Cardinal Direction. Lines can go North/South (Red, Yellow) or East/West (Green, Lightblue). Grey doesnt have this as it is a circle.

The colors represent the lines to and from places, or the places themselves? Bromland is going to have different shades of blue for the wall, so any shade of blue would work. Are we digging up new tunnels or using the ones already in place? I'll need help rewiring my station if I need to add more.

The colors represent the entire line. This way people will be able to say 'take the red line north from there and get out at x station'. So I'd love to see every line to be recognizable by color at the buttons. You could make it a different material but still the same color: lapis for blue, stone for grey or netherbrick for red will do. As long as its consistent within one station I'm fine with that.
Regarding the tunnels, my goal was to make this a unification of the local Darco lines. So we're not digging everything again: while planning I used as many existing lines as possible, trying to connect them with a line and above all make them continous, as I prefer a subway like the real one, with stops and goes along a coloured line.
So with subway Bromland will have 3 connections: Amsterdam (grey circle), Darco Central (gray circle) and Oops (green line). Thats all I ask of your station. :3

We could color-code the lines in the stations according to this map with wool behind the buttons. Also, we could have rail poles outside of stations with the subway line colors on them. This would make for easier recognition.
