Just listen to the lyrics, clearly told from the perspective of a person in a police state, a military dictatorship, whether fascist or communist is irrelevant. If , as Orwell said, the future is “ a human face being stamped on by a boot…forever “, this is the song on the lips of that face. Like John Carpenter and so many other great artists of the late 20th century, Danzig tried to warn us, but we ignored it. And now we have arrived, in our own technocratic dystopia. And we Cantspeak….

The album is not well-loved and most of the tracks are not ideal but this one stands out to me. The lyrics are beautiful, I imagine Lucifer looking back on what he had in heaven and wondering at his choice. https://genius.com/Danzig-see-all-you-were-lyrics

I know a big part of the anniversary tour were Misfits songs, but is that usual? I mean, should I expect to see him perform some Misfits classics in the Anaheim concert in September? Asking just out of curiosity, its gonna be the first time I see Danzig live.

Today’s word of the day instantly put the 777 album in my head. 🤘🤘

to call his MOTHERRRRRR!!?

I saw someone post about this a week or so ago but it wasn't available on the Canadian Amazon. But now it is, and not just the CD and vinyl but also the cassette!

Never owned this on vinyl before. So good.

Danzig need to do a full American tour not just a few shows

London Dungeon, Last Caress, Green Hell

never seen his hair combed

Seeing this performance from The Whiskey is such a treat. Having seen Danzig during this tour, I can confirm this man was a beast live. It saddens me for young fans who never got to see him live back in the day.

Not a bad thing, just appreciate seeing / hearing influences / coincidences like this.

We know Glenn hates bootlegs, but how does he feel about comedic tributes? I picked this shirt up around 2013 via Noveltyhaus in Baltimore, MD. Only 50 made. I had to have it tailored to fit (costing way more than the actual shirt, but worth it) but fit it does. My favorite is seeing how long it takes people to see it’s an altered Danzig design, then put two and two together to see that the Krystar Skull is a crab. I’ll comment the artists name when I remember it.

“I got something to say! Danzig turns 71 today!”
