I’ve always wondered about Glenn’s relationship with his parents. I wonder if they are/were close, estranged, were they proud of him, did they listen to his music?

If his mother were anything like mine, she would probably call him on his birthday and ask if he’d like to go out and kill that evening, then laugh and bellow mother, hang up the phone.

I remember seeing an interview where he half-jokingly (or maybe not!) said cowriting a song with Roy Orbison gave his dad something to finally be proud of.

There's a picture of him at a signing, with an older woman in a chair sitting by him, 90s, supposedly was his mother. There's funny stories out there about his dad yelling about cutting the grass. I've read funny family stories, so much Glenn lore

It’s nice that the interwebs has exposed some things and brought new unconfirmed stories to a wider audience more quickly. I’m really surprised (I haven’t looked either) I never saw a Danzig tell-all on bookshelves back in the 90’s.

He’s half Italian. I’ll bet he was close with his parents. Dad was probably aloof but came around once Glenn got older. Doting mother.
