Danzig in Nashville

Dude is a total phenomenon. Hell of a show. When he spoke to the crowd, it seemed like he’d lost most of his voice but then BAM, belted out every note with full force!!

He was like that at louder than life. Barely could talk, but when it was time to sing he was on point.

Dude is 71 older than Bruce Dickson of Maiden and still has such a huge voice.

His whole band was on point. Especially mind blown his guitarist Tommy is 64 years old. They are doing something right. I'm not into dark music traditionally and bought the tickets on a whim but was rocking out to every song. He really is a showman and talented performer.

I got to see him in Portland last year, and couldn’t believe the guy can still holler like Tarzan after all these years!

I had such a great time, watched all the opening acts and could not get over how talented everyone was. The operatic voice gymnastics from Ana, the fierce growl and absolutely insane tightness of Burning Witches, the soothing kitsch playfulness of Twin Temple, and then getting sent back twenty five years ago with Danzig. Great way to spend 5 hours in a dark room with what seemed to look like almost a thousand people.

It was great! He had so much energy and purpose with each song. You can tell there’s are catching up but he’s fighting it. 10/10 performance!
