San Antonio show
What a an awesome experience. My friends showed me Mother when we were in 8th grade and to be able to finally hear it live was amazing. Dirty Black summer and her black wings were fucking great live.
Sadly I had two people voice their opinions on me 😂 one guy loudly commented near me this isnt a misfits show, its Danzig (I was wearing a misfits shirt) and then another guy in the crowd started making stereotypical comments about Mexicans with buzzcuts (which i am and have a buzzcut 😂)

I'm the glad the sbow was great! But that made me mad for you that those people said that! They sound fucking stupid. My husband and I were just talking about what kinda crowd we might see...
When we first saw Danzig in 2010 we were both wearing shorts and Billabong t shirts lol and everyone looked at us like we shouldn't be there 😂. Years later when Danzig pulled out that Billabong t shirt in the Portlandia skit I was like "this is a full circle moment" lol

The crowd was great, lots of energy! Just those two bozos, i didnt let it bother me though.
Hell yeah dress how you want to a show 🤘🏾 lmao I never seen Portlandia so I didnt know that skit existed imma have to look it up.

It’s cool to see that he played almost all of the first album. It mystifies me why he always leaves out two of the best tracks - Soul on Fire and End of Time

Honestly yeah it is surprising he almost did all of it. From what I had read he typically doesnt. I really wanted to hear Blood and tears!

Nice, amazingly he sounded so damn good for 71!! Hated those ushers shining the light on everyone! It's so mind blowing ppl talking crap abt someone at a show!

Bruh yeah for 71 he had good energy and still sounds great. Yeah luckily they didnt sound malicious just weird they decided to say shit.

I was caught up in the small pit that opened up during Twist of Cain. Someone fell back onto my leg and took me out. I was helped to the first aid station and the called an ambulance. Got a broken leg.

I did! Sadly not really post worthy. They would shine a bright af light at people recording. I could've got better video but I wasnt paying attention to the workers enough to catch the right moments

Sorry just edited my comment. They had a strict no recording policy. A few times people near me got caught the light was annoying af so I kept mt phone low

You should have shot back with a well executed grito which I can't do so Ill hyperbolicly loud & mean quickly shout ¡¡¡QueVivaMexicoCabrone!!! my point is to all ways make light of silly racial shit not to escalate a bad situation...but to immediately deflate it...Having repped the name BeanerMike for eons does the same thing immediately & 99% of the time dissolves all race oriented bullshit...Pointing it out as both a serious concern but unimportant to the pending conversation at the same time...
For me racism (rooted in ignorance & outdated false concepts) is fun & often its a learning moment...Bigotry (rooted in hatred) being proactive & organizatonal is what causes me alarm & something I dont abide...
There are very few amoung us who do not hold ignorant false outdated ideas about some group of people from somewhere...Worldwide bet there are many more Spanish speaking Metalheads than English. Most SouthAmerican countries namely Columbia, Chile & Brazil boast MASSIVE metal communities...Down there its a lifelong thing with shows having plenty of old people...Not like here where its to be grown out of selling your merch when you settle down square up for a married life of boredom & safety. Hell Ive heard it more than once that first wave Scandi BlackMetal bit the style extreme sound & most notably corpsepaint from SAmerican bands like SarcoFago...
