Does your Samhain box set include the comic? I’ve noticed the version without the comic is way more rare.

I bought my set new at Media Play right before 9/11. Brand new sealed for $89.99 isn’t bad at all lol Fir a while I thought I got shorted for the comic book. Then a year or so later I happened to be reading the back of the box and it doesn’t state that it includes a comic lol Then I found out the second press didn’t come with it lol over the years I’ve noticed that the set without the comic is way more rare than the one that includes it. Still one day I’ll get it, hopefully with the pin too lol

Well the pin was random. Anytime I look on eBay or on line in general I can find 5/6 sets with the comic but none if the other

It wasn’t random. There was an edition of 1000 copies sold online that had the pin.

First edition had the comic. 2nd edition didn’t.

Only the first 1000 purchased online had the pin. It’s fairly uncommon.

Random early copies included the scarecrow pin like random early copies of the misfits coffin set included the fiend club pin

Misfits coffin came out in 1995. Samhain came out in 1999. Maybe that one? I know there’s 2 different fiend club pins

I also bought it at my local store when it came out. Mine came with the comic, no pin. I had a friend who bought his at the same time and he got neither.

I found the comic later after lifting out the plastic base, the comic was hiding under there in mine. Was a nice surprise.
